Anton Renborg

With half a lifetime devoted to exploring culture and social perspectives, Anton Renborg moves between fine art and commissioned photography. His work stands on multiple grounds: social, emotional, political, commercial, or personal. Anton creates work that is both immediate and enduring, distilling community, identity, presence, gender, and emotion.

Exhibitions

Renborg’s work has been exhibited widely across Europe, including Paris Photo, Les Rencontres d’Arles, Magasins Généraux in Pantin, Galerie Filles du Calvaire, alongside residencies in Vichy and Corsica. He has also contributed to the Swedish Pavilion at the World Expo in Dubai and The International Art Fair in Rotterdam. Commercial services

Each collaboration, from intimate portrait to large-scale production, is guided by a sensitivity to context and form. Anton brings energy and perspectives to each assignment, collaborating directly with creative led founders or together with Creative Directors on commissioned work. Editorial and personal projects form the backbone of his practice, offering space for experimentation and reflection that is of great use to the commercial context.

Commercial clients include Louis Vuitton, Vogue, Amnesty International, Cubitts, Messou, Borbonese, Stora Skuggan, Gucci, Flattered, Rodebjer, Gant, Diadora, WeSC, and the Financial Times. He is also known for his portraits of artists such as Kaah, Seinabo Sey and more.

Publications

Some of Renborg’s long-term projects have resulted in several publications, including Days in Vichy and Notice de la Corse with Filigranes Éditions. He also occasionally produces independent publications, allowing for more experimental formats and narratives that extend the themes of his photographic work.
